Here is my Dream PC 2005:

AMD FX-57 CPU
DFI nF4 SLI-DR MoBo
4GB Crucial Ballistix DDR-RAM
2X BFG 7800GTX Watercooled VIDEO
Gaming Bomb II Case
2X WD 74GB Raptor HDD
Enermax 600W AIW SLI Ready PSU
Dell 2405 (Dual)
Creative X-Fi Fatal1ty Sound Card

Can someone really afford these?

Very close to what I have.

Get me an X850XT PE, Newark 3700+, A pair of 74GB Raptors, and a pair of 1gb RAM modules good for 300mhz and that's my dream PC.
