DOOM: The Dark Ages

You playing Quake or Doom? Screenshot of worshiping guy
Pretty Decent game I switch off Bloom and set the FOV to like 110 I like it better than the last two games. Everything seems out of focus unless it's my eyeballs.
Game has alot more detail in level design compared to the last two modern Dooms.

If it feels out of focus to you then make the horizontal FOV smaller.

Oh WOW just means Microsoft sucks bad. If the layoffs were not based on performance. Microsoft is the new EA. Developing ID games in unreal is a joke.

Can Id Software leave Microsoft and be on their own, or get in with another bigger company that's not Microsoft?

Sort of but they will need angel investors. The devs can leave and form their own studio (and this has actually happened fairly often before, devs splitting off from a massive org to form their own small indie or doubleA studio) - however they cannot take any names or IP. So the iD name stays with MS, all the trademarks and titles (Doom, Quake, Rage, Wolfenstein etc) also stay with MS. The devs also cannot use any of their previous code/assets - and if they release a game that's too close in design/gameplay/visuals/feel to one from their previous studio (aka feels like the exact same game but reskinned) they potentially open themselves to a lawsuit.
