Does This Look Good for the 'Ultimate' Cool/Quiet Air Cooling Setup?

So currently I have a Thermaltake Soprano DX Case and a Tuniq Tower and they are peices of junk. My Q6600 loads at ~ 75-80C under max load and I have reseated/repasted over 5 times now. So I am sick of my high temps and plan to go all out with my air cooling, and I was just wondering what you guys thought of this setup.... This setup will also be used when I go Core i7 or whatever later this year/early next...

1x Cooler Master HAF 932
http://www.crazypc.com/products/haf-932-81226.html

- Supposedly one of the best if not the best air cooled case, and I am sick of mid tower cases so this would be a nice boon to go full tower.

1x Prolimatech Megahalems Lapped
http://www.crazypc.com/products/prolimatech-megahalem-508600.html

- Best air cooler (tied with TRUE?) either way its cheaper than the TRUE and I can get it lapped for $20 more. Pretty much the defacto best cooler.

4x120x38mm Fan Clips
http://www.crazypc.com/products/508601.html

- Need to attach those fans :D

2x Panaflo 86CFM fans...
http://www.crazypc.com/products/5787.html

- Going for a Push Pull Config and I don't need 70DB 250CFM fans because this has to be a realistic config that won't sound like a jet engine taking off in my office.... needs to be quiet, but there is some leeway here regarding sound levels...

1x 230MM Blue LED
http://cmstore.coolermaster-usa.com...d=178&osCsid=3da0cdadb41c02089a09c47d2a2483e6

(Going for red to blue for my HAF 932.... so I will need to switch out front fan)

10x 120mm blue LED Cooler Master Fans
http://www.crazypc.com/products/cooler-master-5834B.html

- 4 for side panel intake, 1 for bottom PSU area intake, 1 for front intake, 3 for top, and 1 extra...

1x Scythe Kama Bay
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835185020

- Will put 1 of the Blue LED fans in here for additional intake...

1x 140mm Blue LED FAN
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835129248

To replace back fan (whcih is solid black)

Approx Cost
~$425 Shipped

Any Input?

Actually you can get the TRUE for cheaper. Also, I would skip on the fans you listed. The Kama bay is fine (if not pricey) but not really needed. As far as fans for the HS I would be looking at the Scythe GT fans, though you might want to look into a controller as well. And for the case fans it's hard to beat the Slipstream fans, but if any of these are going to be mounted horizontal I would suggest some S-Flex.

I'm running a HAF 922 with the two 200mm fans mounted front and sides with one 1200rpm Slipstream in a Kama Bay for intake and 3 1200rpm Slipstreams for exhaust. There's also a pair of Slipstreams on the Megahalems cooling the i920.

Ambient temps are 20C. At 4.2GHz, the temperature sensors on the Master Ace show 22C intake temps and 29-30C exhaust temps under Prime95. CPU core temps are high 70s/low 80s. When my 1900 Slipstreams show up on Monday, I'm going to run a temperature comparison at 800rpm, 1200rpm, 1600rpm and 1900rpm for push/pull and push only on the CPU under four OC profiles, and I also will test a 2000rpm Delta in push only.

HAF and Scythe = win.

You don't need a blue led 230mm fan you can swap the leds in the front fan yourself. They are just added into the frame in 4 locations.

If your going for being quiet, the 230mm stock fans will make those 2000rpm 120mm ones sound like a thundering stampede. The 230s are very quite and move a good amount of air. Also, one 120mm will not replace the lost airflow of the front 230mm unless its a 3000 Kaza......then that noise thing comes up again.

If your looking for quite and good airflow, the stock 230mm fans are hard to pass up. They move a lot more air while being quiet. Lets put it this way, I can hear my fan on my 4870x2 at 25% using CCC over the stock 230mm case fans. The 1800rpm Xiggy on my V2 is louder than the case fans.

I would seriously wait on replacing the stock fans and hear them first. I think you'll be surprised.

I'd suggest a Noctua fan. I believe they have the best air flow to decibel ratio, if I'm not mistaken. Only fans I'd put on my CPU anyway...

Umm, that amount of fans is gonna be anything BUT quiet, regardless of how slow you run them... Do some research into noise levels and how it all adds up. It's also way overkill, at some point (way before 10+ fans) you're probably not improving airflow at all, but you're definitely adding a whole lot of vibration to the whole setup.

Seriously, that type of case is very well vented, it's hardly a vacuum (and no case is), you don't need a whole lot of air intake... Air's gonna come in regardless of whether it's pulled in or not; and exhaust fans should just be pushing out hot air from the hottest spots, not sucking up the insides of the case like it's a clean room or something. Spend a while at SPCR if you're trying to build anything that resembles quiet while keeping good cooling performance... There's a lot more to it than airflow too.

As others have told you, bigger and slower-spinning is generally better too... Simple physics.
