Haha nice badge.

One time I had to go to a client because their computers were running extremely slow and they couldn't figure out why. I went into the system properties and found out that they had 256MB of RAM and were running XP on that.

The office manager didn't want to shell out the money to upgrade the computers though (it would have only been enough to upgrade the computers to 1GB or something. just for parts only at that)...

LOL i had the same thing a few weeks back. 1 256mb stick of ram running xp and using a shared video card....only 193mb running the system.....lol it took 5 mins to boot.

A couple years back a friend of mine wanted me to install a printer/scanner on his parents' computer. They had just used the XP upgrade on a PIII with a whopping 64MB of RAM. It was literally click start and wait for 5 or 10 seconds. They couldn't believe how fast it was when we got 512MB for that dinosaur. They bought a new machine about a year later.
