Does the NZXT Phantom have light inside?

The only light it has it from the LEDs in the top rear 200mm fan. It is activated by a pushbutton on the rear of the case.

It looks like they used 3mm Orange LEDs on that fan. The ones on mine are blue, then again, I have a white case...lol

NZXT 200mm fans are the only ones that fit that case apparently, So a no go on the 200mm Xigmatech fans.
 
With the panels, lights aren't going to be that obvious. I built a computer with the case and I could barely see the light with room light on. :(
 
Yeah I had the phantom case when it 1st came out and bought xigmatek red led fans and they sure didnt fit at all, Kinda pissed me off but I sold the phantom anyway and got the corsair 650D and love it.

In regards to the 200mm fans, yes you will need to use NZXT's 200mm fans
 
I have a brand new NZXT red LED fan that I bought, HOPING it would fit, But nope, That I'm selling.
 
Those links dont work because you forgot the N in the item link, But no, Those xigmatek fans wont work.

The reason why is that the NZXT fans arent really 200x200, They are smaller, Like 190x190 or something.

From what I've heard, ONLY NZXT fans will fit the Phantom case. So your best bet is to get NZXT fans for piece of mind knowing they most likely will fit :D

Others have said the same thing. ONLY NZXT 200mm/120mm fans will fit the Phantom.

They said the only brand of fans that will fit is NZXT. Idk how many times people need to tell you before you get it. Stop asking. GO ahead and get whatever you want, but when they dont fit, dont whine about it.
 
All I know is when I bought the phantom and xigmatek 200mm fans, They would NOT fit as the holes on the fans would not line up correctly.

Read the nzxt website for their fans:

FS 200RB - Compatibility only guaranteed for NZXT Vulcan, Phantom, and Hades
FS 200LED - *Only guaranteed to work with NZXT products.

That leads me to believe that these fans have a different hole pattern than regular 200mm fans.

I put the NZXT red LED fan below a some other 200mm fans to check the holes, and the nzxt fan is smaller than the other 2 200mm fans.

I have the red led NZXT fan installed and it doesnt fit all 4 fan holes like the corsair stock fan, the coolermaster megaflow or the xigmatek 200 fan, Its smaller.

Because (and for the last time), The NZXT 200mm fan is smaller than the xigmatek.

Measure your 200mm fan holes and see, Its not actually 200mm, Its smaller. Thats why the xigmatek 200mm will not fit because the xigs are 200mm and the nzxt isnt.

Why not just BUY the NZXT fans and be done with it? or BUY the xigs or coolermaster fans and see for yourself. if they fit, Fine, But I know the 200mm Xig or coolermaster 200 will NOT fit. As for the 120 or 140, I dont know, I didnt bother with those. They may/may not fit.

That is up to you to decide if they look good. Kinda funny for NZXT to release a case w/ orange accents and have no orange fans, But I dont have the case, I have a 650D case and dont have this issue ;)

But its also funny that they make a red phantom, red fans, red led strip, but no red PSU to match, same with their black fantom, just all white PSUs
