does newegg.com price match?

I don't think so. Come to think of it I don't really know of any oneline retailer that does.

Newegg's prices have gotten pretty high since they became so popular. I rarely find good deals anymore on their site. Some of the one day sale stuff is pretty good, but rarely anything I need or want.

The last deal I got from then was a 74GB Raptor for $177 with a $25 mail in rebate to drop the price to around $150.
 
popularity has gone to thier heads for sure. in the deals forum zip zoom fly is on there alot. somtimes though brick and morter places will price match stuff online if they themselves sell the samething on thier site.

No, newegg does not pricematch. And honestly, unless it's a SIGNIFIGANT price difference (i.e. $100 for ram at zzf, and $120 at newegg) I wouldn't even bother. I like the fact that I know where my stuff comes from, and that it's usually one place.

I only really purchase from about 4 suppliers, honestly.


Kudos to anyone who can guess which 4...
 
I would rather spend 20 bux more and get stuff from a well known place than save that same 20 bux and get it from some no name outfit.

I usually only buy from newegg, xoxide, svc, and frozen cpu. Newegg for all my hardware and the others for mods and cooling.
 
Online: Newegg, ZipZoomFly(why the stupid name change!?), Jab-tech, and Bestbyte.

B&M: MicroCenter...that is about it. I only go to MC for a super great deal that I want in my hands now....and they now have a super collection of odds and ends pieces for finishing up a custom comp. The small things, like fan splitters and such...the things that aren't worth paying shipping for if you are in need of just a few things. Oh, and games at BestBuy cause a friend gets 'em with her discount for me. The discount is minimal on software, but hey...a discount is a discount. ;)
 
Newegg has good deals on some stuff. I found my laptop there for $110 below anywhere else shipping was $5.99 not the $25+ some others wanted and I got it in 3 days crosscountry(although i guess that says more about fedex that egg). I would say it just varies. I usually use newegg, zipzoom, gameve, and outpost but i shopped that laptop everywhere.

Edit: Monarch doesn't make the list becasue for me they are a brick and mortar :D
