Does Intel still make P4 1.8A...And if I get one from them do you think it will be like the old 1.8A and how they OC..

*EDIT*
Sorry should have said this in the first place.. I am RMA-ing a 1.8A back to intel for a new one and I was wondering If someone had an idea of what to expect Intel to send me...

This 1.8A to my surprise is faulty as my friend never OC or did anything to it. It just one day never rebooted.....

1.8A are outdated tech and have been discontinued by Intel (they only make Northwood C and Prescott chips now). Newegg still has them though.

I bought a 1.8a right before christmas and OC'd it too ~3.2GHz on default voltage and it was a D1 stepping ironically.

D1 steppings are sweet chips. (like mine)

Too bad even if you can get it to 3.6Ghz, (100% OC) you're still only at 800FSB, which is nice but 1200FSB is even nicer!! :)
