i haven't been able to really find anything on this, but you'd think there'd be quite a market for modular PSUs for HTPC cases that use mATX power supplies. barring being able to buy one.. how hard would it be to mod an existing PSU to be modular?

win! now.. to figure out how to get one, since it's in store only. :-(
I didn't make myself clear: Due to the fact that it's an Ultra and made by an unknown manufacturer, there's no solid proof that it can actually provide even half its rated power let alone that full 400W. Not to mention that its power layout puts it in a 250W to 300W PSU range which means that PSU was over-rated in terms of wattage.400W is way more than plenty for what it needs to run.. honestly, 230w would probably cover it.?
FSP:from what i've seen, there's not much else out there that's higher quality. Diablotek? Athena? Logisys? Startech?

htpc cases use a wide range of power supplies, SFX, TFX, standard ATX, FlexATX...which case are you using?
