I am having trouble finding an adapter to make my ATX power supply connect to an AT motherboard. Does anyone know if this type of adapter exists?

I don't believe so.

THough, why do you want to keep an old AT power supply for newer hardware?

He's doing the opposite....new PSU on old hardware.

I KNOW I saw one at jameco at some point, yet I can't seem to find it on their site....but they do have AT PSU's if interested, maybe you should look arround at some of those other electronics stores (like MCM,etc) for one

Some old Compaq/HP type machines have PSU's with both ATX and AT style connectors on them. I have one with a XP1700+ with that type of PSU. You might be able to find someone getting rid of a computer like that with the PSU you need.
