Subject says it all really, but just to elaborate, the usual format for multiple monitors is side-by-side. I'm wondering if anyone has tried using triple monitors stacked one above the other, for a 16:27 or 21:27 aspect ratio when three monitors are used? Is this supported by Nvidia and AMD video drivers, and if so, do games accept the resolutions?

This is supported in both AMD and Nvidia's drivers, and does work with games.

Works just fine with my quad setup with AMD drivers. Hell, i can do a 4 stack. If you can arrange it in a grid pattern, the AMD drivers will let you do it.

Not sure what you're talking about here, since it has always been possible to do triple-DVI displays with Nvidia Surround.
