DJing on laptop

This is what I want:
Headphone out, and 5 channels out to mixer. Would a regular creative sound blaster audigy do this (the pc card)?

i'm not familiar with the creative sound blaster audigy, but I do gig around with my laptop so....for five outs, you're going to want a professional/semi-pro usb/firewire sound card...Brands off the top of my head you should start looking at are M-audio, Echo, Presonus, and RME. I'd especially recommend RME if you're serious about gigging, their stuff is rock solid and their driver support is insane.

Unfortunately, for any live audio or recording applications, soundblaster etc just doesn't cut it.

M-Audio Firewire Solo if you've got Firewire

exactly, 5 channles? most set up's arent surround sound and most music is only 2 channel stereo... as i recall...
