Digital out question

My Audigy 2 ZS has a headphone jack sized digital out. Like this

Now, I have the following.

Will I be able to use that for coxial digital out from my soundcard to my 7.1 home theater receiver?

just put the 3,5mm jack from the shorter cable you pictured in the flexxi jack from your soundcard, put the longer coaxial cable into the shorter cable and the other end into your amp. (digital in, coaxial connector on the left)
finally select digital output in the control panel and set the sampling frequency to 44.1khz
