Hi guys, I need a little help connecting my audio. I never cared much about a speaker setup, usually I just use headphones. However recently I've had to go back to my old core 2 duo setup with is an Abit aw9d-max board. This board comes with a pcie audiomax 7.1 sound card. I am also using an older Cambridge Soundworks 5.1 setup. I want to use the digital inputs however the back of the soundworks has what I guess in a coaxil spdif and the back of the sound card only has the square optical one. What type of cable do I need to ask for?

Thanks in advance

How is the PC used?

For gaming, you will want to stick with analog.

For movies and other true surround sources, digital could be better.
