I’m in the Middle East and as far as I know newegg and all the other websites don’t ship to my area.
Aramex (courier like FedEx) here is providing a service called shop&ship where they open for the customer a personal mailing address in the US and the UK where he can receive his correspondence as well as personal and business packages such as Internet orders, Aramex then forwards the mailbox contents to his doorstep back home
I opened a Shop&Ship Mailbox and currently I have a personal shipping address in the US and another one in the UK

the credit card I’ll be using (which is actually my friends card) has a totally differ billing address and don’t know if this is going to work with newegg!

For fraud prevention purposes, if your billing and shipping addresses are different, we must verify your shipping address. Please contact the bank that issued your credit card and have your shipping address listed as an alternate address in that bank's memo field. Please make sure your credit card issuer bank's phone number is correctly listed in your Newegg.com account information.

edit: also from newegg
Address verification is a precautionary measure Newegg.com performs to ensure your safety and deter fraudulent activity. The nature of online shopping does not permit us to request a traditional form of identification, such as a driver's license, like a standard brick & mortar store. We instead conduct address verification through your credit/debit card issuer to confirm your identify and verify the validity of your purchase, ultimately protecting your credit and privacy.

If you wish to ship to an address other than your billing address, please contact your issuing bank and have your shipping destination added as an authorized alternate ship-to address in the record/memo field. We will contact your bank using the bank number you have provided to verify this information after you've placed an order. Please allow an extra day to verify any alternate ship-to address.

Both your billing and shipping addresses must be verified before an order will ship. If you encounter any trouble when attempting to add an alternate shipping address, let the card issuer know that you are placing an online order and that the retailer must verify your personal information before shipment to eliminate the possibility of fraud. Then, simply give us a call at 1-800-390-1119 to let us know and we will re-attempt address verification to complete the processing of your order.

Orders with the same billing and shipping address are more likely to ship same-day.

any ideas?

Have the stuff shipped to your buddy with the CCard.

Have your buddy ship the stuff anywhere you want it to go.

We can guess all day long how NewEgg will handle this, but a call to NewEgg will get you answers that you count on. Ask them, don't guess.

If the Shipping and Billing addresses don't match, Newegg will check with the CC company to see if the Shipping address is on file with them. If not, they won't process the order. So, whoever's CC you're using needs to have the shipping address on file.

I talked to newegg, seems that the trick is to go to the card issuer and have them mention the shipping address somewhere in the card info (in the memo field or as an alternative billing address)
they also told me they don’t accept orders by international IP addresses! I can have someone else place the order from the US but that’s just too annoying for me

so is Amazon a good place to buy computer parts from? the problem is I’m aiming for the new upcoming releases like the Intel Q9450 and the GeForce 9800GX2 and some X48 based board and I’m afraid parts like these will not be easy to find, I mentioned Amazon cuz Aramex recommended them for me and told me most of people who subscribed with that “shop&ship” service deal with Amazon which don’t ask for an identical shipping/billing addresses and apparently don’t reject international IP addresses

Amazon is a good place to buy PC hardware from for international people. I think a member of our forum buying most of his PC off Amazon and he lives in Egypt. You may have seen him around on the forum as Abu Som3a. Might want to PM him on his experiences and where he got his PC parts from.

I've had them ship stuff to different addresses, even my customers in other cities. I have paid with my American Express card which has a PO Box as a billing address.

The addresses given by Aramex are blacklisted by newegg. Newegg also does not accept credit cards issued outside the US.

I think they're pulling your leg on this part. When I was stationed overseas, I ordered MANY items from Newegg using my International ISP (orange.nl).

Your best bet is to have your buddy buy it then ship it to you.

Newegg, and several other online shippers, have inconsistently applied policies for this sort of thing.

I am in a similar boat - living outside the US. I use a US-based credit card with a US billing address, but ship to a 'freight forwarder' type of service as mentioned by the OP.

Some of the online retailers will hold up your order indefinitely without comment. Some will refuse to ship, saying that the 'freight forwarder' address you are trying to use is blacklisted or that they won't ship to freight forwarding types of services.

Some retailers will ask you to list the shipping address with the credit card company; some may have you call the credit card company per order.

And, thankfully, some retailers just process the order and ship it without issue. I've found that the larger the order, the more likely that there will be problems or questions raised.

Best bet is to call the retailer in question. After you place in an order, wait a few days, and call. I believe newegg might be one of those retailers that occasionally remains incommunicado on suspect orders.

Again, policies are inconsistently applied, so be prepared for some frustration. If none results, then happy happy joy joy for you.

I PM'ed abo som3a and he gave me some informative info, I'll try to buy what I want from Amazon, if something wasn’t available there I’ll let my buddy buy it and ship it to me
if anybody knows some other easy online shippers please tell me about’em,
I searched now in Amazon for those but didn’t find them :(
