Difference in DDR2 Ram

If you have an Intel system you should run the memory 1:1 with the FSB.
ie 400FSB = 800MHZ DDR
Buy whichever speed you need for the max FSB speed you intend to use.

Alright so that makes sense, however, what Nenu said is not 1:1. 400=800...
So If I want to get an intel q9300 with 1333 FSB I would want ddr2 1200?

That 1333 is the Quad pumped bus speed.
So divide by 4 then multiply by 2 for DDR and you have the memory speed which is 667MHz

In equation form:

Stated FSB/4 = Actual FSB
Multiplier x Actual FSB = CPU Speed
1:1 Ratio: 2 x Actual FSB = RAM Speed
1:1 Ratio: FSB = 1/2 RAM speed
