Define "moderate gaming" for us. Which games do you want to play and at what level of visual quality?

Let's ignore the second monitor for now; do you plan on reusing your keyboard, mouse, and speakers/headphones?

Which stores would you prefer to buy your parts from?

I'd like to run at 60fps at my native 1920*1080 for gaming, Ideally (high settings). Not playing anything very new at the moment (dark souls, dota2, diablo3, gw2)
I'll be reusing my keyboard, mouse, and speakers/headphones,
I bought my last (and only build) from NCIX, was a good experience but I'm not tied to them.
First post updated.

Bump that SSD up to a 256 GB model, and (if going with Crucial) go with the M4 series. 128 GB will quickly feel constrained, since Visual Studio and other tools will still install common components on the OS drive regardless of the install path selected.

Ditch that PSU as it's not that good for the money. I recommend the Antec HCG-520M 520W.

Which version of Windows 8 do you have? Home Premium? Pro?

I concur with bumping up the SSD to a 256GB if possible. The Samsung 830 256GB is a solid SSD.

PSU ditched, went with the Antec.
Upgraded SSD.

I have Windows 8 pro (upgrade license, transferable)

Just about ready to order, but I'm going to check for available deals.

Canada Computers has a physical store in London too I believe.
I didn't know that, I'll check them out too, thanks.

just pulled the trigger.

changed 660 ti to radeon HD 7950.
changed CPU to the 3570K

Went with NCIX and came out to $1,338.29 after tax (with $37 shipping and $17 insurance)
