Season Pass √
Finally pulled the trigger, and technically didn't spend any of money. Had gift cards on amazon and bought 2 $20 blizz cards to complete the transaction.
Great value...more coming tomorrow.

Order of Operations
So, in short, you should do daily and weekly activities in an order like this:
Weekly Flashpoint, Crucible daily, Gambit daily, Strikes daily, Story missions, and Ikora’s 20 bounties. These will all offer low-tier Powerful rewards. Do these first to hope for the best in some minor bumps in Power. If you go up in Power, that’s great! The higher tier Powerful rewards will then drop at even higher levels. If not, you had some bad luck. You’re like a lot of Guardians out there who got the same pair of boots four times in a row.
Once you complete the tasks above, it’s time to head for the next tier of Powerful drops. This includes the Nightfall Strike, Gambit weekly, Crucible weekly, the weekly mission in the Dreaming City, and completing Petra’s eight daily missions. This tier of Powerful drops will drop even higher than the activities before these.
Up next is the highest tier of Powerful drops, including the Last Wish Raid, weekly Dreaming City rewards, and the Ascendant Challenge in the Dreaming City. These have the chance to drop even higher than the two previous sets of activities.
Outside of this order of operations, and once you’ve exhausted your activities for the week, you can always hope for an Exotic or Prime Engram to drop. Exotics and Prime Engrams will always drop at five or six Power higher than your Power level. And, thankfully, Prime Engrams drop much more frequently with the release of Black Armory. So while the power curve is technically the same, you should level up faster now than in vanilla Forsaken.
Tuesday is the day you want to make sure to hop on and play Destiny 2. That’s when weekly activities reset, giving you the chance for Powerful rewards all over again.
Very good first impression of the new Gambit Prime mode here for me.
It is intense and more frustrating in some ways.
EDIT: Finished weekly in all Gambit Prime. Mixed feelings. When I was done I got a 654 scout rifles so the number are going up.
GP is flat out tougher and there is also more frustrating attrition in some ways.
You have to keep killing envoys repeatedly to have shields drop on the Primeval for a limited amount of time. Meanwhile of course you are being invaded and all the rest of it. It's more time consuming without any doubt. Maybe it will feel better once people are up at 700 because it was tough. You also have to stay in this light sphere when you attack the primeval and I noticed their overall energy level took quite a bit more effort to drop.
part of the frustration is people not knowing how it works. Once people figure it out it will be less frustrating. I like prime a lot, the back and forth progress makes it a lot more satisfying when you win. You dont have to stand in the light sphere to kill the primeval but it does buff your damage output if you do, it also groups everyone up out in the open for an invader to pick the whole team off.
The reckoning is OK, if your team sticks together it is pretty easy to clear. If everyone runs around lone wolf style it is much harder. Waves of redbar enemies, then a few yellow bars mixed in then a boss. You get 5 minutes to complete it.
only thing I got over 650 was a 653 auto rifle, I actually like it a lot, very low recoil with extended mag perk field prep and swashbuckler
To get a set piece you want (or need):
For maximum efficency you can farm a bunch of synths in Gambit Prime, go in Reckoning and farm these synths for a full set and get back to Gambit Prime with your sweet new perks.
- Go into Gambit Prime for a couple of matches and get synths for your sets. Synths are given out for actions that corellate with a set, i.e. when you kill guardians in invasions you get more Invader synths, for collecting a lot of motes you get Collector synths etc. Random synths are also a reward for a Prime match or a successful Reckoning round.
- When you completed your first Gambit Prime match for a bounty, the Drifter has given you a synthesizer. You can access it in your inventory, it works like the Dawning oven.
- Create a mote with your desired synth with synthesizer. Synthesizer can be upgraded later to give you better motes (which then you use to create more powerful Prime gear).
- Go in Reckoning and bank this mote in bank at the start of a round. For each different mote rarity there is different place where you can bank the mote, run around the bank and find correct slot. NOTE: only weakest motes are acceptable by the bank yet, wait for next tier of the Reckoning to release to craft +2 and up items.
- BANK YOUR MOTE and go kill taken.
- After successfully completing a round of Reckoning, go back to bank and collect your set piece. NOTE: gear is not in the knockout list and you can get duplicates. If you fail a round you get your mote back when you claim rewards at the bank so you can try again.
- You can create motes anytime, so do it in the downtime between rounds in the Reckoning.
Also if you do not bank any mote you can get synths by completing a round of the Reckoning. It is less efficent, but this way you can skip Gambit Prime part if you don't like it.
Heads up: to acquire a helmet - complete a weekly Prime bounty. It'll give you a helmet for the set and also it will upgrade your sinthesizer to craft better motes.
they increased it perma, or temporary?
Intention was permanent but we'll see.. the increase was probably more than they expected.
That's what I typically roll. That Sunwell is crazy and when your team stands in it you can melt anything....most of the time i just Stand in place and take hits just to get as much damage out of it since it heals and buff damage output.Keep in mind, he also was a middle tree solar warlock and he melee'd Nockris first giving him the Empowered buff. Still though, it's crazy.
After the Nova Bomb buff, don't think my Warlock has switched off of it. Top tree cataclysm bomb wearing Skull of Dire Ahamkara is stupid fun.
Blow up a group of ads, get your super back and do it again.
FYI - Just popped into the Spider's area and he is selling 1 enhancement core for 10 legendary shards.Anyone have an good advice on how to farm enhancement cores? I tending to find myself lacking in those to upgrade older weapons.

Spider really needs to get off his lazy ass and send some minions out to deliver. My ghost is the next evolution in a cellphone and some how that piece can't make a grubhub-esque app? For shame.Yup, that's normal. Price doubles every time you buy one, however. You never want to buy more than two.
Key is to go see him every day and buy 2.
If you're sitting on a lot of Legendary Shards and have some time to kill, the Simulation Seeds farm nets you the most. You'll want to spend 1K or so shards to make it worthwhile so this takes some time.

Did they patch this out? I've never seen him sell resources for legendary shards, only glimmer. The only thing I can buy with legendary shards is enhancement cores.
In other news, one of the two weeklies from Petra didn't reset for me, so I can't get that weekly reward this week.
Just sold them a day or two ago for shards.
Even though some players have solo'd that mission, it's about the same difficulty as a nightfall and designed around a team of three. It's not the same as the typical strike version, most solo players will get stuck around the elevator part of the mission. On both the discords, (link1, link2) there's almost always players grouping up for that mission.tried to do "The Corrupted" mission alone, but had to quit
