Yes, I did this with three people. We just used the transmat to go back and bring the pike's forward. We got them all there safely using the cheese.

So, everyone else was lazy and I set the whole thing up myself then everyone joined. Sigh.

Also, snagged this tonight. Hello, Gambit.

Hot take.

I'm not in love with that sword. I find it finnicky to use, the ammo economy (no relentless strikes) is noticeably worse and the hit reg on the heavy attack sometimes just completely misses targets.

I love my guillotine more unless of course i'm doing Atraks-1.

Same here. It has its uses and when that happens it's great but I'm still firmly with guillotine if I'm going sword.

Who would have thought the key to flawless 1280 Empire Hunts was spamming multiple phoenix protocol wells. Huh.

Glad that's over, shame the shader is kinda meh.

Well, I really think the honeymoon phase with this expansion/season is over. Definitely spoke too soon on Gambit with the mote registration and the constant invades with Eyes of Tomorrow. Seems to be bugs/glitches everywhere too.

The raid was nice, but I had higher expectations after all the hype. The music and the space part were fantastic. Mechanics were cool. I do like the season armor ornaments for Warlock, so there's that.

Was really hoping this new expansion would get me excited about D2 again and it just....hasn't.

Concealed Void Lost Sector on Europa has the Exotic Arms for Legendary 1250 today (12-3). All you Warlocks trying to get Necrotic Grip, today is the day!! Got mine on my second run; 65 total stat, but not particularly good rolls for a Warlock. Still, not complaining.

Used Gnawing Hunger for the Void shielded Servitors & to stagger Overloads, Any Pulse for Barriers & Xenophage for Solar and bursting down all Champions after staggering. Also used Dustlight grenades with the Overload mod for crowd control and emergency Champion stagger. Protective Light mod saved me a few times, but over-all at 1260+ it was not that difficult so long as I wasn't being stupid. There was one Arc shielded enemy, but two shots from Xeno took him out.

EDIT:

I didn't have nearly as much trouble as him. I kept my distance with the Pulse doing most the work, staggered the Overload Champs with the AR from a distance and then took them down with Xeno. It was much easier than getting up close with an SMG.

When you get to the Boss room, there is cover to the left right as you drop down. I used it to the fullest, jumping back up the ledge if I really needed too. Running into the room before the Boss & Servitor(s) are down is a death sentence.

I dont have Xeno, I've been using the new exotic pulse, the AR you can get from Variks and Falling Guillotine. Stun with grenade, delete with sword. Only one that gives me any issues is the first one with all of the shanks hiding around the corner. 6 clears so far, no exotic drop

Those two artifact mods for grenades work so beautifully together, especially when used with a duskfield. Infinite overload.

Ha, just when I got above 30k glimmer again. Thanks, bounties. Neat though.

I've cleared it at least 15 times now, maybe 20 still no luck
It’s worth it. Got mine my first clear. They’re lots of fun with Thorn.

Man that sucks, sorry for your rng. Haven't used mine yet, but the community seems to love it. Hopefully it drops for you before reset, but it will come around again if not. Maybe in an easier Lost Sector too; reading a lot of people having trouble with this one. May try my Titan in the morning, but we'll see.

So far, it typically takes me about 4 or 5 clears to get one of the exotic pieces. I've farmed the helmets and arms for both the Titan and the Hunter. I haven't done the Warlock's stuff yet. I did get the mask for the Hunter in two clears though.

Only the Dawn Chorus helmet I got on the first run. Speaking of, that thing is nuts. Run it with bottom tree dawnblade and now you have the same great ad clear super as before, but now its a great single target DPS super as well. Also, its damage amplifies with more fireteam members using it. In discord today it dawned (ha) on us.. multiple dawnblades.. Dawn Chorus.. Chorus of Dawn(blades).

Clever, Bungie.

Hawkmoon quest is done. It's a 140RPM hand cannon. It feels faster than that and feels like it recoils more like a 180RPM hand cannon.

Man, that quest was ticking along at a nice rate, and then WHAM!! PvP. Nothing like slogging through what I'm guessing is over a hundred PvP kills as an old fart (and a left handed one at that).

You can also farm champions in hunts, legendary lost sectors, etc. That's what I did.

If you haven't completed the guardian/champion part of Hawkmoon yet the best way seems to be loading up the 1250 nightfall and running into the first room, killing the 4 champions (leave one of the ads alive) and then wipe and repeat.

1250 lost sector too, at least with that you had a chance of exotics if you just burn the boss at the end.

I liked that new EDZ Dam area and I feel like something else is teased in terms of the Crow. I like how all of this has been handled.

Thanks for the tips on Hawkmoon. I'm still in the Crucible/Gambit phase.

I didn't do any gambit or crucible, you don't have to. I believe that phase also says champions so you also have that option, I think we're all talking about the same step.

You are indeed correct. Good. I'm just finishing up the Banner stuff and then I will make the shift to the advice in this thread.

Good point on still having a chance for loot, definitely something to keep in mind. That said, the nightfall is still faster. Literally jumps 12% through the quest in a matter of a minute and after wiping you literally spawn in the same room ready for the next 4 champions.

On Hawkmoon though, that last shot has some serious power in both pve/pvp. Kinda crazy. Feels good too.

I wasn't at all excited about this gun... another exotic hand cannon, but after playing with it for a bit and hitting some serious damage on that last shot, I kinda enjoy it.

Same here. I've always had Transversive Steps equipped though as a Warlock main. This gun definitely changes how I play with that as I keep canceling the bonus shot by running for cover or sprinting somewhere.

Yeah... I did some IB with it and quickly took off my Transversives... They're usually permanently attached to my feet.
