Trying to find a large long straight desk to replace my current one. Running Dual 27" monitors. Trying to keep the price below 400$. Let me know which is your favorite in this price range! I really need ideas.

Uh. That's a 16" deep "desk".
Unless you're clamping the monitors onto the back or wall-mounting them, that's not really very deep.

I'd look for something with a deeper top. Like this: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/50267978/#/70267977

The only thing is, you'll probably want to build an underframe for it to keep it from sagging.
I'd buy two of the tops, cut one down for the horizontal/lateral support underframe.

Then something like this fitted to the underframe: http://i.imgur.com/kEawnJx.jpg

Total cost, about $300-350 in parts, plus a bit of labor.

Or, if you don't want to cut down a perfectly good tabletop, hit home depot for some 2x2 oak furring strip: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Unbrande...l-1-375-in-x-1-37-in-x-96-in-165360/202518911

I like this one from IKEA. Long, straight, simple.

Keeping with the IKEA theme, there are two "deep" tables that can handle your monitors and they're each under $200:

$120 - GALANT desk with T-legs (63" L x 31.5" W)

$189 - BEKANT desk with T-legs (63" L x 31.5" W)

There are additional desks available in the BEKANT series.

Couldn't hurt to check Craig's List for used Galants and Jerkers. You can find some pretty sweet deals on both desks on CL.

Check to see if your Ikea has a scratch and dent section as well. I picked up my second already completed Galant for half the normal price due to just a small little scratch. YMMV of course but can't hurt to see. Make sure you bring a van or a truck though. Fitting that Galant in my sedan was a bitch...
