Demon's Souls (PS5)

The Demon’s Souls PlayStation 5 remake features some secrets that have yet to be discovered, according to a well-known member of the community...speaking on his Twitter profile, hacker and dataminer Lance McDonald confirmed that there are four items that were not present in the original PlayStation 3 game that have yet to be discovered

It's not yet clear if these yet to be discovered items can be obtained legitimately...for the time being, Lance McDonald will not talk about them to avoid ruining any easter egg...

Wow this thing records when you receive a trophy pretty cool it does like a 15 second clip and the Trophy is uploaded to your PS5 with a watermark on the bottom. I suppose it's for one of those people with no life who collected the things.

Yup, that's a PS5 feature for all games. The PS4 would do screenshots, but the PS5 does both screenshots and videos. It's something I delete 99% of the time, but I have a few that I kept and am proud of.

I'm Soul Farming in 3-1 level 18 beause I went to 2-1 and my sword damage was minimal unless I did a stab attack. Just got the purple Fire Shield raising my Dex for Flamelurker later on. This game is hard if you try and rush push everything and they corner ya. I really want to try this game on a Oled when they come out.

It way better than Nioh 1 and 2 which are both visually good but Demon Souls structure is better better boses and visuals items and level design.

Demon's Souls Returns on PS5 Pro: Hands-On Impressions

Demon's Souls on PlayStation 5 Pro features a new visual feature, a new contact shadow system...this system is similar to the screen space shadows system employed on base PlayStation 5, which is mostly noticeable in areas with rocks, but shows more fine shadow details...

Demon's is still one of the best looking games out there, even in performance mode. The visual effects and animation are just so well done. It's easily my least favorite Souls game in terms of the actual game, but it's the best looking one by far.

Bluepoint, developer for the Demon's Souls remake on PS5, was apparently working on a live service God of War game which Sony has cancelled. They were also forcing Bend Studio, developer of Days Gone, to create another undisclosed live service game. Good grief, Sony Interactive Entertainment is full of morons. But that shouldn't be surprising ever since they moved their HQ to San Francisco in 2015 and let the Americans run it.

Sony had plans to release 12 live service games by 2026. Only one of them released so far has been successful (Helldivers II). Concord, released last summer, was an embarrassing failure. Sony also cancelled a live service The Last of Us game last year.

I will give Sony credit for recognizing these live service games aren't working and cancelling the projects. Still, I can't believe the amount of resources they used for multiple live service titles.

Guess there is no hope for EverQuest being good in 2027 but Dark Paw working on it should shead some light on the project.

EverQuest has nothing to do with Sony anymore. Sony Online Entertainment became an independent developer in 2015 known as Daybreak Game Company. They were acquired by Enad Global 7 in 2020. Darkpaw Games is a subsidiary of Daybreak that was created to handle the EverQuest IP.
