Great deal on the 480, too bad no good ATI cards in though. I actually would pay $365 for a 480, but can't justify buying two cards for multimonitor support. Hope you guys actually get yours that did order though. Dell has a tendency to try and back out of these really good deals or just keep delaying shipment. Mine have always shipped eventually, but need to wait a while.

You can run two monitors individually, but for their eyefinity clone you have to have SLI. That is pretty disappointing to me at least.

With tax this is ~$390 for me. Decided to get a superclocked version with the tigerdirect 6/8 - 6/10 deal for ~$420. They always deliver for me... Dell, not so much. I still remember their 8800GT deal way back when, with people waiting a very long time (if they didn't get cancelled).

Not gonna bite on Dell video card deals, i don't fancy having my money tied up with them when they tell me it will be backordered for god knows how many weeks and that i might not even get one at all for that price.

Typically if they shift the ship date I just cancel the order.

The card shows ship date as tomorrow. Hoping they ship, if not... oh well.

Man, damn California, tax murders every blazing hot deal there is. Total comes out to $400 for the GTX 480, almost $60 to $50 more than the 5870 after BCB @ TD. Guess it's back to waiting for the 5870 to be back in stock. Very [H]ot deal though.

Why is the EVGA GTX 480 showing up as $629.99

Am I missing something here? Even with 30% off thats not $364

I give it around 8 hours before the cancellation emails start rolling out..

Nope. Dell will honor your order.... about 3-6 months later.
Haven't you seen the threads about ordering the brand new videocards through dell and the horror stories of waiting because they got a good deal?

I fell for it back in 2000 with the original Radeon 64MB DDR vivo at $200 when msrp was $250. Had to wait 3 months.
I haven't ordered a video card from them since.

Just be warned, that Dell can be absolutely terrible about making shipping estimates. The last time I got in on a similar deal using a 30% off coupon, I waited nearly a month to receive my 260...even though it was in-stock when I ordered it.

I had a similar Dell deal about a year ago for a GTX 295...was ~$350ish new when they were still selling for $500.....I got mine in about a week.

Dang, that's a good deal. I'm waiting for some decent 3rd party cooler for my 480 before I even look down the path of SLI.

Deal is pretty much over now. Price raised on the EVGA GTX 470 to 439.99 (before 30%) making it the same as TigerDreict with BCB.

GTX 480 priced raised up as well.
