Dell 2005 FPW PIP function

I've had this monitor for about 2 months now and love it. I've been curious as to how everyone uses the PIP function.

I have a radeon 9800 pro and an ATI Tv wonder. Is there anyway to get two TV boxes showing different things or do I need another tuner card?

Is the PIP mainly for connecting a DVD player or console system up to the monitor b/c of the S-video and composite connector?

you need another tuner, but why not just plug a VCR into the S-video or composite in and run PIP and tune it with the VCR?

Thanks for the heads up about needing an additional tuner. I was hoping that I could use the PIP function with only one cable feed into my computer. I have enough wires running in and around my computer so it makes it hard to connect a VCR to it as well.

I'm not a real big fan of the ATI TV software either. Does anyone know if there is alternative to it while still using the ATI tuner?

Regardless, I would still like to hear how others utilize and maximize productivity using the PIP on their 2005 FPW, or maybe its just a useless function . . .

I use it for hours everyday.

I have Dish Network input through Svideo in the upper right, IRC and Trillian in the lower right, and Firefox/Outlook takes the left side of the screen. That is one of the main reasons I bought a 2005fpw.

Yup. It is useless. Another tuner will not help you. You can only use a few combinations with the PIP function: DVI/VGA on the left and S-Video/Composite on the right. You can't have the PC send two different signals. So in short, plug in a dvd player or a vcr directly to the monitor.
