Definitive answer on the 710T?

After reading through countless threads on several sights, i have yet to find a definitive answer to the question of the "Is the 710T a 16.2 or 16.7 million colour display?" each one referring to specs on the site that were changed and now seemed to have changed back.

Can anyone put a rest to these rumours?
 
The 710T is a 16.2m color display. There is no 17" 12ms monitor that can reproduce 16.7m colors AFAIK. Some people will tell you it's much better than the 172X because of color reproduction but it's not, they both use the same 16.2m color panel.

Not sure what your referring to the 710T on samsung site is still listed as a 16.2 panel.

They're all a 16.2M panel.. (Even the 710N, regardless of what samsung.ca says!)

The CD that they include includes all the specs and manuals for the 7XX series -- all 16.2 :mad:

Just looking at the specs, I thought the 710T was the end all be all of LCDs!
 
Well I hope its a good monitor I plan on one on each side of my 213T


1st is on the way for my evaluation
 
So far I love it...It's great for gaming and so far I really haven't been able to tell that there's less colors than a CRT...Unless you do a lot of Photoshop or something I don't think you'll really even notice. Actually I think the colors seem more vibrant even on this than my old monitor. (NEC FE791SB 17" Flat CRT)
