Generally speaking, which manufacturers have you found to provide better support for their products, both in terms of providing general assistance and with RMAs? - primarily regarding motherboards, gfx cards, and RAM?

I have heard EVGA tends to be on the better side, and ASUS to be worse if you have a problem, but not sure on the others - or is it just luck of the draw if you end up going through a horror story, or finding a knight in shining armor? :)

Yep.

I've read just a few horror stories about EVGA, Intel, and Logitech while all other manfgs seem to be on par.

Just buy what you want but you normally you do "get what ya pay for" as far as component quality. :)
