Custom wood+acrylic build with water cooling

So I put braiding on the two hoses that goes through the metal sheet. Should I do them all or just keep those two?

I think it looks good with the black braiding, but of course hard to see bubbles :)

Went with the black braided sleeves:

Also used black braided sleeves for the fan cables:

And put the sides back on and started to check for leaks and to bleed the system:

After alot of shaking and running there are still no leaks so that is good :)

So use some sealer and started to install the power buttons:

Then I discovered that my extension power cable won't fit :(
Think I will make a new back plate, but for now I'm just running the regular power cable through the cutout:

And I also found out that my arctic F9 pwm fans have a really annoying drone sound if they are mounted directly to the top plate.

Not sure if they weird drone noise is a arctic problem or not. Otherwise I will have to add a spacer that is 4-5mm, but that was not really part of the plan.

Other then that it is running very smooth.

Did you ever test them running vertically to see if they act the same? Because fluid dynamic bearings are just fancier sleeve bearings, and depending on the quality, can exhibit similar behaviors/limitations, such as making more noise when mounted horizontally instead of vertically. I would stick to ball or maglev bearing fans for horizontal installations.

Yeah think it was slightly better, but the drone sound was still there if the fan was mounted directly to the top plate. If I turn the fan around so it pushes air out instead of pulling air in the sounds becomes less audible.
I have ordered 2x Be Quiet! Pure Wings 2, since the same will make it easier to fit. I guess if all fails I will have to get two Noctua's instead.
