Does anyone think I should be worried about using a company's logo? I mean Dell wont come after me will they... it's not like I asked permission.
Geo Fry said:LOL well thanks but I can't really say that I modded a Dell case... I basically scrapped the Dell case for the mobo tray and built a new case around it. More of a scratch build than a mod job.
Mysterae give me a pic of your girlfriend; I'll see what I can do![]()
Well the plate is sanded aluminum and is supposed to match the rest of the sanded aluminum. If I had put on the two other pieces for the front it would have made more sense. I was thinking of painting it black, but decided that the contrast would look betterfilthysanchez said:one thing i noticed is that the dvd drive cover doesn't match the rest of the front.
Nope I changed the motherboard so it's an old crappy Pheonix BIOS instead loljeffmoss26 said:Looks great! I followed this from the start. But please don't tell me it has a Dell BIOS!
And one question, What is your service tag number? haha!
I ended up just sanding the button down a bit... just enough so when I have the front panel on you can just press a spot on the front to get the drive open. The only down side to this is that the panel will now get smudge marks and fingerprintsmrmetal_53 said:this mod is great, i love how it turned out! very good job
one thing im confused about: how do you get the CD drive to open? i tried looking back through the log, but i couldnt find out where you mentioned what you actually ended up doing
