Quick question about the actual difference between the 2 brand GPU's.

Is it a good to compare the stream processors vs cuda cores?
 
As magixx said, no, it is not an accurate comparison.

Best thing to do is check a number of performance reviews to get a realistic idea of the differences in performance.
