Im kinda new to Counterstrike source and was trying to get a bind setup. The official forums are abit lacking and really dont take kindly to newbies so heres my question.

How would i set up a simple bind to a key to buy a weapon?

Is it---> bind f1 "buy_deagle" ?

thats all thanks in advance to anyone that helps.
 
does that work with counterstrike source, also i would just like to enter the line myself via "console" but i really cant find out how the command line looks to type it in.

Once i get the actuall line i think i can go forth and bind weapon buy keys to the rest of my Fkeys and so on.

The top section is all the actual buy commands.

Now if you have lets say both the AK47 and the M4 in the same bind, you will end up buying the appropriate one from the side you are on...this saves you the need to have two complete sets of binds, one for each side.
 
ok thanks for the aliases lol i went ahead and got cz bindmaker but the damn thing wont scan for my config file.

Little more help pls.
 
Is this Cal legal? Cause I want to make sure it does not get me banned or anything. Although I buy plenty fast but sometimes i am lazy:)
 
I did all the binding and everything but is there a way to copy and paste the binds or does the program load it up?? I am confused.
 
Wow I could use those for myself. I always bought stuff manually. Heh, I think i'm going to save this. I never cared enough to find the info on the commands for the binds in CS. I'll use this now.
 
well I figured it out... the config file the program makes I just take the binds out of that and paste it into my autoexec.exe and it works great :p

That's not the best script order, since you would be buying a vest only every time, even if you had the cash to buy the vesthelm. You should reverse the two, and then you'd be ok.

bindmaker only creates binds that you can do for yourself in the game console.

one of these days I'll get around to making a decent version of the app.
