If you are one of the people stuck playing Crysis with an invisible crosshair on a non-firing, non-reloadable gun with damage sirens blaring constantly as you play, this patch is for you. ;)

Crytek is updating Crysis 3′s multiplayer with a number of fixes and tweaks. Currently live on the PC and on its way for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, patch 1.1 and Data Patch B will fix a number of issues like crosshairs becoming invisible, players being unable to fire or reload occasionally as well as tweak weapons like the Typhoon, Predator Bow, SCAR and more.

Nice to see they are patching this one. I couldn't ever make it through Crysis 2 due to bugs (I know they patched it, but apparently not well enough). First game-breaking one was getting stuck in an area that was supposed to trigger a cutscene but never did. Had to restart the whole game (thankfully it was relatively close to the start). Second go, eventually I was unable to get ammo for and reload the main assault rifle (SCAR?), even if I dropped it and picked up a completely different one. Not technically a game breaker but it made me not want to play anymore.

I didn't notice too many bugs when I played Crysis 2, but I resented how linear it was, and the much smaller playing area. The open spaces in Crysis 1 was the best part of the game.

Indeed. I still remember seeing random things in the distance like a satellite dish and thinking to myself "heh, wouldnt it be cool if I could go over there?..... Hmmm... what if.... holy crap I CAN!!"

For my testing, interesting:

Code:
Significant optimisation to Medium detail settings (PC Only)
Particle optimisation (PC Only)

It'd be funny if this was the DRM, similar to the GTA4 drunk walk, but just happened to be stuck in the "on" position for everyone.

sucks that I cant play cause I cant really afford an upgrade to dx11. I'm pretty sure my gtx275 could handle mid setting fine.. Still kinda pissed at Crytek for this.
