Can I crossfire a 4870 and a 5850? My 4870 died, and I purchased a 5850, found out my 4870 is still under warranty and sending it in. Can I use them together? Dumb idea? Possible?
 
No crossfire :(


Only between same series of same gen (i.e. HD58xx with HD58xx; HD46xx with HD46xx, etc).

Exceptions (noteable):
HD58xx & HD59xx can CF.
HD4350 & HD4550 can CF.

sell that sucker , those things fly so fast cuase everyone wants it for there second pc setup or even crossfire upgrade
