Crossfire 6870s? Problem with 2nd card

I just enabled my 6870s in a crossfire and after I enable it everything is fine in the OverDrive setting but then after 30 seconds it will not show the temp of the second GPU or anything. Anyone else have this problem?
Also, I am running just one monitor at the moment.
 
The secondary card disables while you are not in a game to save power and reduce heat since it is not needed. It basically becomes inaccessible. When you go in to a 3D application it will come on and go back to full clock speeds.

If your curious about the temps of your second gpu download the GPU-Z tool.
