crossfire 5770 and 5750?

I bought a 5750 not too long ago because the price was irresistible, but now new 5750's and 5770's are running at about the same price so there's no reason to get the 5750 at this point. So is it even possible to crossfire those two or when the day comes should I just settle with the equally priced 5750 to avoid headaches....

and just to clear is it possible to crossfire a 5770 with a 5750? They're close in performance, but one just edges out the other, but I'm not 100% on how the technology works so I'm not sure if they'll mingle or not.
 
yes you can crossfire them, but the 5770 will down clock and run only as fast as the 5750. You should just get another matching 5750.

I am pretty sure this is almost a decade old information. This isn't memory pairing. If manufacturers have gotten to the point of different speeds internally in a processor they can hand cross talk between two different speed video cards.
