I had been thinking of getting a laptop, but am pretty much decided that a SFF would be better for now, with that said..

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Word processing, web browsing, quick books, light gaming.
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
$700, including shipping
3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.
U.S.
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word
"Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
Motherboard, CPU, Ram, HDD, Monitor, power supply.
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
Case
6) Will you be overclocking?
Maybe
7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
1080p, 18"+
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
Within 30 days
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? etc.
One that fits in a SFF case.
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
I will be buying Win7 home.

Here is what I have come up with so far:
21" monitor, $144 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236176
Motherboard, $85 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131769
CPU, $130 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.830955
Memory, $60 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231460
SSD, $104 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148441
OS, $100 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832116986

Grand Total: $623.95 +shipping, I picked newegg due to ease of finding products, will search for cheapest prices possible when the time comes to order.

What case will you be reusing?
Did you need a DVD burner?
By HDD, did you mean SSD or SSD + HDD?

64GB is a good starter size for the OS, you will need something bigger for games and such.

I have a PSU, DVD drive, and case to use for now, the SSD should be more then enough space for the foreseeable future.

Gonna ask again: What case will you be reusing?

Also what PSU will you be reusing?

I was going to use a POS full tower case, but have decided to get one of the following instead:
SS PS07 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811163186
SS TJ08 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811163182
Fractal Design Arc Mini - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811352008

and a 5 year old 500w PSU, not feeling like digging it out to remember the brand.

So are those cases part of the budget? Really need to know the make/brand of PSU you plan on using before we can recommend you parts. The PSU is the most important part of your system, many people look past this; but with a substandard PSU it could destroy all of your components should it go out. Seeing as how it's ~5 years old, I think you'll want a PSU as part of that budget.

I have tweaked a couple items and am now at less then $600 for everything I need, thanks for the "helpful" advice:rolleyes:.
