Creative Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit 7.1

Hey I have a MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum/SLI mobo and the onboard sound is creative 7.1 24-bit. i recently had to install another copy of windows on my harddrive because my original was broken. i got all the drivers like lan, sata, nforce installed just fine but the sound driver (downloaded off of msi's site) never works. i am still getting sound out of my front 2 speakers and when i install the program it has me reboot and when it boots up, there are no new programs installed...any ideas?
 
Well, maybe you could try looking on creative's site for drivers or install the original drivers off the cd just to see if it all works (not recommended however).

forgot to mention, i dont have the cd. but im getting the ones off creative's site and im hoping that's going to work
 
ok i downloaded the drivers and software and i set the speaker settings in creative software to 7.1 (which i have) and sound still only comes out the front right and left speakers.
