Creative and Nvidia sitting in a tree...

I actually welcome the audio changes in Vista. I look forward to the day when we don't have to buy Creative soundcards just to experience full quality audio in games. I've got plenty of CPU cycles to spare, it seems only right that they get used for something.
 
It's a damn shame more people don't adopt that outlook as well!

I'm also looking forward to the inevitable reduction in message board threads started by people who've had system crashes which resulted from video/audio driver related problems.
 
Meh, I'm the kind of person who could actually hear a difference between onboard sound and my external sound cards.

Eventually Creative will get these drivers out and then all will be well.
 
I definitely can too. The new system in Vista shouldn't affect that though.

I guess I should be more clear. I'll be glad to see DSP for audio moved into software.
