I would appreciate it if you decide to try it if the vista 64 thing works please post back here saying it did or it didnt, I am going to include this info an a guide and if donesnt work I have to find some other tools for the vista people .
1) Following the steps on the link, I was able to run Core Temp without crashing Vista64. Before, the the video went crazy but that may have been due to overclocking
2) I created and placed a shortcut for the program in my Startup folder, but it was blocked - probably because UAC is activated?
3) When I did unblock it, so that it woudl run, I continue to get the error message:
"The Driver has failed to load!
Some information will not be available"
4) Not to be picky but double-clicking on the icon takes a couple of tries - may be it's my setup.
5) It may be nice to have the temp displayed in the taskbar or have that as an option instead of hovering the mouse. And this may be fancy, but have it colored according to temperature? Green/yellow/orange/red (from cool to hot)?
6) When I did get it running, I noticed in the Task Manger that the CPU usage for Core Temp was about 50% (yikes)!
7) My temperatures where (and I have no idea what they should be):
TCaseMax: 65c
Core#0 : 68c
Core#1 : 75c
Are these okay?
8) If you have any suggestions about how to have it run without the error message or high CPU usage, I would greatly appreciate.
