I just overclocked my e6600 400 mhz system clock x 8 @ 3200 mhz
using ddr2 800mhz ram.

im using a zalman cnp9500at cooler and jesus what a pain that was to fit had to take motherboard out are they all that bad?

Orthos has been running for 30 mins and have had no crash.

But.. my cpu temp is 60 to 65 ?

Is this ok ?

yes, a little warm but we know nothing about your room temp, Vcore setting and case airflow. That is a very good "sweet spot" you can probally get it higher but the increase in performance will not be noticeable in normal use. Don't worry be happy :)

You need not worry until temps get above 70C and actually the processor will shut itself down at 85C and you cannot disable this feature, you cant burn it up.

Some of the big ones with push pins under the fins are a real joke to try to get on (I think yours is like that). Now if someone would come up with an inexpensive deep jaw set of pliers to reach in and pop those pins down, they might could make some money.

(insert 7 page dissertation on how heat kills electronics and cooler is better here)
