CPU running too hot

Please Help.
I have a pentium 4 3.2 running at 3.2 with this heatsink(or one that is very similiar, not sure of brand name)

and my CPU is running at 75C and it used to run much cooler than that, any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Remove the heatsink, clean both cpu and heatsink and apply artic silver or whatever paste you used before.

did you try cleaning the dust out of the heatsink?

I had that problem on my 3.0 pressy. I took off the heatsink with its 2inch layer of dust. I then applied arctic silver 5, dropped 16 degrees at least

Cleaned out the dust, havent removed the heat sink yet but I plan too.
