My CPU has been overheating, and causing reboots when I run CPU-intensive tasks.
What does it mean when your CPU temps jump into the red almost IMMEDIATELY when starting a CPU-intensive task, and drop down to normal almost immediately after stopping? (I'm reaching the max safe temps for my CPU - AMD 6400+)
Shouldn't it mean that the heatsink is probably unseated? (I poked around, but it seemed ok... At least I couldn't wobble it around, with my hands)
It's not the case cooling, because my case is like a wind-tunnel. (there's no heat-buildup in there *at all*)
