Cpu+Mobo deal ... question

Is this a good deal?
Can't find much info on the CPU on the web, looking for a cheap, cheap uppgrade and this is well... cheap but I don'T want "will die in a year, cheap"

The 900e is a lower-clocked "energy efficient" P2X4.

The 770 chipset mobo is previous-generation midrange.

It seems like a good deal, but not ridiculous to the point of being shady.

the X4 645 below is the better CPU (2.4 ghz on your posted 900e vs 3.1 ghz on the 645), and it's an even cheaper deal on newegg:

$140.98

The fact that the OP provided a ++++ link basically means that the OP is from Canada. So that Newegg combo link won't help.


Anyway, for the price, that ++++ deal is not too bad.
