hello im looking at this cooler for my i7 build http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/t..._shr?_encoding=UTF8&m=A15YNZR7YB053N&v=glance i was thinking about cooler master v8 but this one just a bit more and just checking with you guys to see if its worth the extra bucks for it?also i be using the paste that comes with it is it anygood also?

Not a good choice since the OP has a Core i7 setup and therefore that Xigmatek HSF will not work.

Anyway OP, the Thermalright is a good choice. So stick with it.
