PCP&C seems to have a pretty good reputation for the PSUs they make. However, they tend to favor the single 12v rail, whereas many others usually go for 3 or 4 rails. I was under the impression that having multiple rails is better, but it seems that maybe it's not so simple as that.

What's the pros and cons of both?

I'm looking at this FSP PSU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817104015 it seems to be a good deal and is well-reviewed. There is also a Cooler Master one that actually looks exactly the same except for being black and is a bit more expensive, also well reviewed.

I'll be running a Q9450, two SATA2 HDDs, 2 SATA DVD drives, a single GeForce 8800 or 9800 card, and 4 gb DDR2 RAM. Do you think one of those PSUs mentioned above would be a good choice for me? Do you think I can do with less power? Is there another one in that price range that you think would work better?
