Counter Strike: Global Offensive

Has anyone else had extremely bad luck opening the cases? I've had the game since January, and have not had a single decent item drop or successful case opening. After at least 50 or so keys purchased, the most valuable item I've found was worth <$4. So basically $125 down the drain for nothing.

My friend OTOH, found an AWP Asiimov in his first case he ever opened. WTF?

I just opened a Aqua marine ak this morning, field tested. It's my second one, I already have a min wear one.

I've never gotten anything other than complete and utter shit.

Shits so random. I got about 30 boxes given to me from a friend, opened them all. The most notable skins were flip knife doppler, awp worm god, awp corticera, stattrak famas djinn.

Ive bought pretty much all my stat traks minimal wear, but still have gone through over a couple hundred dollars in cases.

If you are going to continue opening cases, find a website that sells keys for cheaper than steam prices.

Case opening is like playing the slot machines in the Casino.

ive only ever seen the "rare item" once.
 
I've opened maybe 40-50 cases. I have some nice purples, a lot of blues, and a Falchion knife worth ~$80. It's been worth it even though I've found nothing special. Someone on the clan server I play on opened a case with a $1,400 AWP in it, that was crazy.
 
I finally got back to MG lol.

Was downranking on purpose with a handful of people because we were drunk and it was just way too much fun.

I started out in pre 1.0, I don't remember the build, but it was a long, long time ago. lol.

are they just skins? or do they have any improvements?

just cosmetic,they add nothing else to the gun. Although i get a little more hyped with my hyperbeast m4a1s over the default skin.
 
I'm so sick of people spaming "TRADE ME" in chat and people masturbating over skins for an entire fucking game.

Two people actually abandoned a game I was in yesterday to do a trade. Are you fucking kidding me? Skins and trades were the worst fucking thing Valve has ever done.

As fun as it is to have the stat tracks I have to agree both in the long and short term skins have turded up CSGO. You gotta keep in mind we just had the big fallout and banning from all the rigged Matches. Those guys were betting skins. If they hadn't had access to that then there would be far less incentive to pull that shit.

I dont mind them,but the 12yr olds that are getting a gambling addiction early on is kinda scary. idk why they would leave mid game when they can shift+tab and do the trade in game. and i just ignore anyone that ask to trade my skins for theirs.

Heh, a guy i played w/ last night received a VAC ban....dated from last night. I was laughing. His private profile shows 1 game ban on record and 0 days since last ban. :D (maybe this morning then)
 
If you won that match with the hacker on your team chances are you will lose your rank.

It happened to me on my main account, was dmg with 44 wins, had a 7 day cooldown because I kept getting disconnections one night. Came back 7 days later and the game tells me that a recent player in some of my wins (on my team) was vac banned and Steam has removed those wins and my rank which I had to play 1 comp round to get back. Played 1 comp round on Inferno which we won by a huge margin (16-4) and only got MG2 rank.

The game is broken.

I'am however supreme and dmg on another 2 accounts after 10 wins.

Yea, i dont know if he was reported in the game. Rather was VAC banned by the Game Dev. So I dont know if it was CSGO, which it probably was, but I have yet to see a notification.

Although, I have seen a notification in the past stating the game was overturned due to a hacker on my team. It was, I think, in big yellow writing where you see "cooldown, reconnect, etc" at the top of my main CSGO screen.

I think that game w/ the dood that was VAC banned got my rank back. I was playing on my main account, so my alt account lost its rank. I got my smfc back though on my alt :D....hopefully it sticks. My main is LEM, but was smfc at one time :p

I thought that was pretty damn clever.
 
No one uses the scout after the 3rd or fourth round, though.

What team? Is it on YouTube? I like watching matches to learn strats. I try some of them and about 70% of the time they work and then someone yells either "hax" or "silver strats"

I'm GNM.
