I currently have a brand new corsair tx650 hanging around and i was curious if it could handle
this set up

ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO AM3 AMD 785G HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard
AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Deneb 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core
4gb of ram
1 tb hdd
6 fans
gtx 460

thanks im also planning to over clock the 955 cpu to around 3.8ghz.

would the psu be running close to the max or with still alot of room

Let me show you my math:
198W - AMD Phenom II 955 BE @ 3.8Ghz + mobo + HDD @ full CPU load
135W - GTX 460 1GB at full GPU load
---
Total: 333W at full GPU and CPU load.

So yeah, you still have a lot of room left.

You cold throw another 460 in the mix and you'd still have power to spare.

I have runned gtx470 and X6 on 450W psu so you still have plenty of spare power.
