We are going to post a more comprehensive Q/A segment on our cases and our cooling solutions. If anyone has an unanswered question, please post it here and we'll address it in a new upcoming Q/A segment.

CASES

Thanks in advance for any input.

Can the 140mm be replaced with 120mm fans? Does it have the screw holes to both take a 140mm or 120mm?

A rad fits on the top of the case... will one fit on the bottom-front area opposite the psu?

What's the MSRP going to be?
I was originally lusting after the CM 840, but after seeing this I had to go get a drool-catcher! ;)

I think it was supposed to be $299.99

I bought a HAF922 to hold me over until it's released, which at that time I'll order one the second I find one locally or a place w/ free shipping ;)

That seems kinda pricey since it appears the similar Coolermaster 840 is $100 cheaper.
Also, the Lancool PC-K62 is going to be even cheaper than that...~$120, IIRC.
Perhaps there was something I missed about this case to justify its' cost?

Will there be a windowless version?

Its stated on their forums that a solid door will be able to be purchased seperately when the case is released.

I like the look, its a solid case design, simple, effective and big.

Its not really for me at this point, but that doesn't mean its not going to be a
well received product. Corsair earns the reputation, and I hope that continues
with this product.

I think it all depends on the success of this one...

The cynic in me thinks that $300 for an all-steel case is going to be a tough sell to anyone let alone an enthusiast.
This is a nice case, don't get me wrong - however I think the asking price is definitely not a good way to go in trying to break into an already-saturated market. I would have tried something smaller, like a better version of (say) the A05, tweaked, and sold for around the same price. $100 is a sweet spot for cases; $100 is almost an afterthought. It's like "well it's more than a cheap steel case, but not so much that I have to re-work my shopping list to afford it".

I wish them all the luck in the world, but anyone who says they have $300 to spend on a case, it's going to be hard to not steer them towards one of the many LL's or Silverstone's available instead of this "nice but steel" case. (As someone else here has said already), for $300 I'd expect 100% aluminum. :(

I'd like to know if consumers could submit thier own case designs for corsair review.

I'd rather have a flat-black interior than a shiny aluminum one to be honest... I like LianLi but their designs were never perfect, and the ones with black interiors are hard to find.

It has an aluminum front-panel... it's honestly one of the best layouts for a full tower case I've found... PSU is seperate airflow, HDD's are seperate airflow, and it has the option for a triple RAD up top without modifying... just awesome...
