How does the V2 compare with the one on Newegg in terms of quality?

I'm pretty sure it's the same PSU. Newegg just hasn't listed "v2" in its description. The V2 has been out for over a year now and you're unlikely to get a 1st gen CX430.

Either way, they are great. I use them all the time along with the CX430M modular.
