I’m considering using some copper pipe bends to clean up the look a little. Talk me out of it? Haha

I can get a stick of rigid copper pretty cheap and can make pretty good sweaping 90° Bends. Run the flex over it to keep it from drooping or kinking. I already have the barbs and crap so I really don’t want to buy all new fittings to go full rigid. It’d be 1/4” ish copper pipe so there’s an element of restriction to flow, but I don’t see that causing too much of a difference.

Loop if it matters just a cpu block, univeral gpu block, pump/res, and a single 280mm radiator. So I’m only thinking of a couple pieces as inserts.

I can't think of a really compelling reason why not. I'd personally try to get as close to the ID of your tubing as you can get with the copper OD.

"Look at my rigid/soft tube hybrid!"
"Which ones are soft and which ones are rigid?"
"Yes."
