Coolest Mac Mod….Ever

That being said, I did get some pretty nice Full Metal Alchemist decals a while ago that I've been meaning to slap on my case... One's a shadow/outline of Al standing over Ed (planned to put it on the window, since it's all black and hollow in the middle where Ed's actual shape is), the other is the Elrich family crest (in red), planning to slap it on the other side panel.

I have a nice Autobots logo decal on my netbook (it's almost the exact same shade of grey as the Acer wording on the corner), got it custom sized at vinyldisorder.com IIRC. Or it might've been the Star Wars one (Empire emblem) that I got there (it's on the side window of my car).

Nobody remembers the Rotten Apple mod? Am I the only old timer here? :-P

I do, I'm surprised no one mentioned it already... That was w/an old G4 plastic case wasn't it.

Personally I never liked those plastic Mac cases... We've seen a lot of PC clones of their current PowerMac tho. I recently had to clean one of 'em up, hadn't been dusted in years (literally like three or four years), with five fans and no filters that thing actually vacuums dust up like no tomorrow. No big dust bunnies or anything, but a ton of fine layers of crap that had been sitting on every component for quite a while, heh.

yup, but at the same time, in that period of time all PC cases were beige and boring. I think Apple at least deserves credit for breaking us out of that trend.
