Most tower heatsinks have the default fan blowing air into the fins of the heatsink with the top rear case fan then pulling it on out of the case.
That said, it just a wire clip and easy to change, try it both ways, the large fan hub might be creating a dead spot to air flow and having the fan pull air through the fins might work better, who knows. Find out for us.

The 212 can be configured in a push/pull , as I have mine. The fan bolts to a plastic clip, then clips to the heatsink. I would leave it in the push style, and if you want to add another fan, set that one up in a pull position. Both clips are included, as well as the foam antivibration.
