Converting digital miniplug to digital RCA?

I have the FPS2000 series creative labs speakers (old but work great) and they use a 9 PIN DIN that has an adapter that turns it into a digital miniplug (headphone style) plug that goes into my audio card. My new motherboard has an SB Live 24bit onboard. It doesn't have the headphone jack style input. Instead it supplies an RCA style plug for digital or I can use optical.

What are my options here? Are there adapters for the 9 Pin DIN that turn it into the RCA style or is there a miniplug to RCA converter I can use? Needs to be digital.

If it can't be done, what are some decent speakers near the $100 range that have those hookups or have native RCA digital or optical hookups?
 
If you can't find anything that does it, it's fairly easy to make a DIY cable that'll do it.
 
Yep it would work... 1/8" mono miniplug to female coax. been running like that for years to my reciever. I don't know about the links posted earlier... they didn't look like the right ones.

IIRC that Minijack has three conductors on it and they connect like this to the proprietary multichannel, discreet, digital interface on the Live/Audigy cards--->

It just so happens the FPS2000 is one of the speaker packages Creative released that took advantage of this "feature" on the Live/Audigy cards.
The problem here is those speakers don't have a Dolby digital decoder built into them so if you want 4 channels of audio out of them you are stuck with using a Live or Audigy card.
If I was you I would just use the Live card instead of the onboard solution and call it a day. ;)
 
Well the onboard sound is a Creative sound Blaster Live 24-bit, but they stopped using that particular interface I guess.

I am not sure if the digital miniplug is stereo or mono, if it is stereo, will the mono adapter still work?
 
Oops it was a mono plug not stereo so the simple 3 dollar adapter from Radio shack worked fine. Thanks everyone :)
